The exhibit features a wide array of traditional weaves and modern textile innovations using Philippine Natural Textile Fibers (NTFs) such as abaca, pineapple, banana, and bamboo. It aims to illustrate the evolution of Philippine textiles and the applications of these materials in contemporary fashion, design, and industry. The display features garments and products that reflect the versatility of these fibers, offering insights into their cultural significance, as well as their modern uses.

Moreover, the HABI exhibit highlights the ongoing intersection of tradition and innovation in the Philippine textile industry. On display are both traditional garments like the barong tagalog and t’nalak, and contemporary textile applications that utilize these fibers for fashion, architecture, and other industries. The exhibit also showcases technical aspects of textile production and explores how these fibers are adapted for modern uses, promoting their sustainability and potential in the global market.

The exhibit will be open to the public from November 7 to November 26, 2024, providing visitors the opportunity to explore the history, evolution, and future possibilities of Philippine textiles. Through this collaboration, the organizers aim to foster greater awareness and interest in Philippine textiles and their role in global industries.
