The Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) and the University of the Philippines - Diliman (UP-Diliman) formalized their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on May 5, 2025, at the UP Diliman’s Office of the Chancellor.

15 participants from the Suyo Multi-Purpose Cooperative took part in the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) training on Reactive Dyeing of Cellulosic Fibers, held at the Ilocos Fiber Experiment Station (Cotton Processing Center) in Labnig, San Juan, Ilocos Sur.

The Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) was among the distinguished government agencies recognized during Taguig City's 438th Founding Anniversary Night and Gawad Probinsyudad 2025 Awarding Ceremony held on April 30 at the Convention Center of the New Taguig City Hall.
