The Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) solidified two key partnerships through Memoranda of Agreement (MOA) exchanges during the KatHABI Fashion Show, a part of the 2024 Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (RSTW) Region 1, held at the Malacañang of the North, Paoay, Ilocos Norte on July 4, 2024. 

The Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI), alongside renowned fashion designer Anthony Cruz Legarda and staff from the Senate of the Philippines - Legislative Budget Research and Monitoring Office (LBRMO), embarked on a significant visit to the George Washington University (GWU) Textile Museum. This visit underscored potential avenues for collaboration and exchange of knowledge in textile innovation and sustainable fashion. 

The Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) showcased its textile technologies and Inabel fabrics in the recently concluded KatHABI Fashion Show at the Malacañang of the North in Paoay, Ilocos Norte, on July 4, 2024. This event was part of the 2024 Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (RSTW), organized by the DOST 1 - Department of Science and Technology Regional Office No. 1. 

The Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) organized a 3rd Philippine Handloom Weaving Conference (PHWC) - Regional Weaver's Forum in Ilocos Region as part of the 2024 Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation (RSTW) Region 1 held at Paoay Lake JLP Resort and Hotel, Paoay, Ilocos Norte on July 5, 2024.
