PTRI TONES CIVIL SERVICE PROFESSIONALISM
May 2016 - The Philippine Textile Research Institute (PTRI) partnered with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) to tone perspectives on civil service professionalism with the Revised Rules and Regulations for government employees.

Director Dick N. Echavez of the CSC - Taguig Field Office conducted the seminar focusing on topics like Administrative, Recruitment and Security of Tenure. He cascaded in particular the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees, Rules on Leave Administration and Compensatory Time- Off (CTO).
PTRI employees and officials attended the seminar and engaged particularly on the application of leaves, administrative cases, election and attendance issues.
"Government employees are expected to be neutral during election season. Remove the tarpaulin on your house gate posted by your cousin who is running for office.", Director Echavez said.
