The DOST-PTRI organized a Fashion Innovation Event entitled "πππππππ: πππ 'π¬ πππ’π¦ππ π’π§ππ" during the National Textile Convention Stakeholders' Night on January 30, 2024, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City. The show is in line with the 2024 Philippine Tropical Fabrics Month celebration.
The event showcased the latest innovations in textiles and garments, particularly those made from Philippine Tropical Fabrics such as pineapple leaf, abaca, silk, banana, and bamboo, featuring collections from the following premier designers:

One of the highlights of KatHABI was the Government Uniforms collection by Mr. Bacudio, made from tropical fabrics and modeled by the following:

The PTF Government Uniforms align with Republic Act 9242, also known as the Philippine Tropical Fabrics Law, which mandates all government employees to use Philippine Tropical Fabrics (PTF) in their official uniforms. Department of Budget and Management Secretary Amenah F. Pangandaman also delivered her special message wearing an outfit made from PTF designed by Mr. Bacudio.
DOST-PTRI's celebrity guest and model Juancho TriviΓ±o also showcased his charisma and style wearing the PTF. Juancho is a Filipino actor, comedian, model, host, podcaster, and vlogger, widely recognized for his portrayal of Padre Salvi in Maria Clara at Ibarra. He is also an artist at Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
The fashion event showcased designers merging creativity with DOST-PTRI's textile innovations and promoted PTF for various wearables, emphasizing its versatility and sustainability. Attendees were encouraged to explore investment opportunities in PTF, recognizing its potential impact on the fashion industry and beyond.
