Basically Borrowed is a platform that encourages people to borrow and lend clothing, creating a shared “infinite closet” and promoting a more sustainable way of fashion. Jiang, who spoke at the Circular Economy Forum during the 2025 National Textile Convention (TELACon), emphasized her commitment to promote circular fashion through Basically Borrowed.

During the meeting, DOST-PTRI showcased their programs which aim to support sustainable textile practices. The meeting marks the start of a potential partnership between DOST-PTRI and Basically Borrowed to further develop a circular textile economy and build a more sustainable and responsible fashion industry.
