In a vibrant celebration of Cordillera's rich handloom weaving tradition, the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI), in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology - Cordillera Administrative Region (DOST - CAR) organized the 3rd Philippine Handloom Weaving Conference (PHWC) - Cordillera Regional Weaver's Forum. The event was held at Paragon Hotel and Suites, Baguio City on July 17, 2024, as part of the 37th Cordillera Month Celebration.

Miss Universe 2022, R’Bonney Nola Gabriel, showcased her weaving skills using the Portable Therapeutic Handloom (TheraLoom) Weaving Machine Version 1 during her visit to a weaving demonstration at Pinas Sadya's store in Power Plant Mall, Makati City, on July 15, 2024. The event was organized by Pinas Sadya and featured a collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) and SAORI Hands of Love.
