During the assembly, participants revisited the important developments and progress achieved since the 1st General Assembly. These institutions shared insights and best practices, strengthening their collective efforts to advance textile science in the country. The representatives emphasized the need for collaborative approaches and knowledge sharing to push the boundaries of textile innovation.

Additionally, the assembly served as a platform to discuss the upcoming Philippine Textile Congress, which will take place from November 24 to 29, 2024. This highly anticipated event will bring together academic researchers, scientists, and experts from various disciplines. The congress aims to foster a shared framework that transcends traditional knowledge boundaries, promoting mutual exchange and learning. It represents a key step towards creating a forward-looking and progressive textile sector in the Philippines.

DOST-PTRI extends its gratitude to all the participants for their active involvement and commitment. The Institute acknowledges the crucial role of the educational institutions in shaping the future of the country's textile industry through research, innovation, and collaboration. Their dedication is instrumental in ensuring the continued growth and development of textile science in the Philippines.
