As part of the Pamana Agham celebration, runway collections featuring Philippine Tropical Fabrics (PTF) from the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) were showcased in the event "Ang Pamanang Habi" last August 28, 2024 at Casa Blanca, Plaza San Luis Complex, Intramuros, Manila.

The show featured outfits from the Kawayarn and Haute Culture Collections by Filipino American fashion designer Anthony Cruz Legarda, who took inspiration from the Philippines' rich cultural heritage by using local weaves blended with fabrics made from cotton, pineapple leaf, silk, abaca, and bamboo.
