DOST-PTRI Participates in Women in Science and Innovation in UN CSTD Exhibition in Geneva
The Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) takes part in the Exhibition on Women in Science, Technology, and Innovation for Sustainable and Inclusive Development during the 28th Annual Session of the UN Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD) from April 7-9 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.

The exhibition focused on promoting inclusive innovation and addressing key trends in Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) that impact the economy, society, and environment. The event was opened by His Excellency Mr. Mohammadou M.O. Kah, Chair of CSTD, who highlighted the importance of inclusive STI efforts.
Undersecretary Leah J. Buendia, co-head of the Philippine delegation, delivered a message emphasizing the important role of women in science and the Philippines' commitment to inclusive growth through its S&T programs. DOST-PTRI's participation emphasized the Philippines' dedication to empowering women in science and advancing sustainable development globally.
