27 Fiber Handicraft Artists Trained on Pineapple Fiber Dyeing in Polomolok, South Cotabato
27 Fiber Handicraft Artists from Polomolok, South Cotabato and nearby areas have completed a specialized training on Reactive Dyeing for Cellulosic Fibers, aimed at enhancing the vibrancy and value of their pineapple fiber products. The training was requested by the Polo Samahang Nayon Multi-purpose Cooperative (PSNMPC), one of the long-standing cooperatives in the area, to improve the skills and creativity of their artists in producing colorful, high-quality handicrafts.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of CHAT including Reimi Imaizumi, Head of Partnership and Development; Mak Tsz Kam, Manager of Partnership and Development; and Bruce Li, Associate Curator for Exhibitions and Collections (Heritage and Textiles). Representing the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) in Hong Kong, Atty. Roberto B.
